This year is TVA's 75th anniversary. To celebrate, they had a little get together thing this afternoon. It was actually lots of fun. They had a band, and they were actually good. They did some presentations, and had refreshments. I got popcorn, and ice cream sandwich, a moon pie, and a piece of cake. I also got a goody bag. It had a commemorative Coke, a thing for your id badge, and a hard hat sticker. I guess I'll put the sticker on something else. Since my husband also works at TVA, we were able to hang out and enjoy the festivities together. Lots of fun.
Also, today is my brother Wade's birthday.

She Lives!
I'm back! I'm feeling normal again, well...at least until about 2:00, then I crash, but there's definitely light at the end of the tunnel.
So...I saw the new Indy movie yesterday. I thought it was good. I've heard some people say they don't like it, but I did. I mean, it's not something I want to go see again while it's in the theaters good, but it's good. Very Indiana Jones.
My husband bought me flowers...5 Encore azaleas which he's going to plant along the front of my deck. I'm very tickled about this. He's also going to help me plant some flowers in the flower bed he made me for Valentine's day. I can't wait. I'm going to put a few vegetables in my flower bed too. I bought some cherry tomatoes yesterday. That should be fun!

Movies
I saw 2 movies this weekend. After work on Friday, my husband and I went to see Iron Man. It's good. I wasn't sure how it was going to be with Robert Downey, Jr., but it turned out really well.
Then on Saturday, we had Girls' Night Out. I went with 3 of my friends: Gina, Wendy, and Amber. We went to O'Charley's and then to see Made of Honor. It was really cute. There were a few things that were a bit crude, but overall, it was was a really fun movie. Perfect for Girls' Night Out. We all decided that Patrick Dempsey is probably a really good kisser. Oh, we also had a really cute waiter at O'Charley's. No one tell Gina's husband! He always says Gina's not allowed to pick up men while we're out!

Grocery Day
Today is Thursday. That means it's grocery day! I like grocery day. I actually enjoy going to Wal-Mart. Today I will be doing so unsupervised. My husband usually goes with me. We go there straight from work. Today I will be dropping him off at the house. He's got to get the lawn mowed, because it's supposed to rain this weekend. This means I get to wander through all the clothes and the baby department. One of my friends is pregnant, so I love to go through the baby aisle to see if there's any thing she just can't live without. As far as the clothes department, I love to go through there to see if there's anything I can't live without. I'll probably check out the trashy romance novels and maybe even the kitchen gadgets. I'll let you know if I get anything especially good!
